We are located in Vancouver, just south of downtown, on 650 Industrial Ave.
As long as they have had 2 rounds of core vaccines plus Bordetella. Rabies are not required till 6 months. They would still be required to do an assessment.
We can only take unaltered dogs that are under the age of 6 months. This is to ensure we provide a safe environment for all of our guests. When your pet turns 6 months, they must be altered to take advantage of our services here at The Adventure Den.
While we don’t currently offer webcam services, our dedicated team is always eager to keep you updated. We can send photos and videos upon request. You may also spot your pup on instagram or youtube where we upload daily!
Indeed, we require a fresh assessment for dogs who haven’t visited us in a while. This is because our pack has grown with new dogs and team members. Reassessing ensures your pup’s comfort and safety in our evolving, dynamic environment.
Unfortunately, we can’t accommodate an assessment and a daycare or boarding stay on the same day. This approach helps prevent overstimulation for your dog on their first visit, and we want your pet to get used to the idea that their parents are coming back. We recommend scheduling the assessment first and planning their daycare or boarding stay for at least the following day, ensuring a smooth and comfortable introduction to our environment.
Currently, our specialized care is focused exclusively on cats and dogs. We’re not able to accommodate other small pets at this time, but we hope to extend our services to a wider range of animal friends in the future.
For pets with reactive behaviours, we recommend giving us a call. This allows us to understand your pet’s specific needs and determine how we can best accommodate them in our environment.
Absolutely! We welcome dogs of all breeds with open arms. Every canine companion, regardless of breed, is a valued member of our Adventure Den family.
