At Adventure Den, we only hire animal-loving, skilled pet care specialists who offer our Vancouver dog daycare, boarding and cat hotel guests the best care possible, with integrity and professionalism. We have updated our team training practices and continually offer on-the-job training as advancements are made in the pet care industry.

    Hi, my name is Laura, I love nature, outdoor activities, people and off course ANIMALS, especially dogs. Since I was a child, dogs have been mu favourite animal and for that reason I feel very happy and lucky to be working in Adventure Den, a place where I can enjoy taking care of beautiful doggies and cats.

    Born in Mexico, raised in Vancouver, Gisela has always had a deep love for animals of all kinds -especially dogs. Her first job was as a student helper at a vet clinic. In 2017, she volunteered for a free spay and neuter clinic in Mexico where she instantly fell in love with a street dog that was brought in. That stray flew back to Canada with her the very next day. His name is Buddy and to this day is a very spoilt and extremely loved companion that she shares a very strong bond with.

    Hi my name is Kami and I am one of the pet specialists at the den! I have always had a passion for animals and am currently studying animal sciences in school. The places I’ve lived have never allowed dogs so being able to work with tons of lovely doggies daily has been such an amazing experience! I’ve been working here for over a year now and have grown very fond of all the pups and pup parents, and am excited to continue caring for them at the den:)

    Hey everyone, it’s KomalpreetKaur, your friendly neighbourhood dog enthusiast! I’m the proud caretaker of the cutest canines at our Adventure Den Daycare. This is the best job I have done so far and being surrounded with such cute companions brings so much positivity to my mind. From tail-wagging playdates, playing fetch to giving belly rubs and cozy cuddle sessions, I’m here to make sure every pup feels loved and cherished.     Brianna is currently studying interior design at the Wilson school of design. She grew up on a farm in Saskatchewan, and likes art, food, and of course, dogs!

    For Celena, animal care is a labor of love. Armed with an Animal Care Aide Certificate, Veterinary Drug Dispensing License, and a Pet First Aid Certificate, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. Her commitment to understanding and enriching the lives of animals extends beyond the Den, making her a well-rounded and invaluable member of the team. With years of experience in canine care, Celena ensures each pup receives individual attention, playtime, and affection, fostering a joyful atmosphere at Adventure Den.

    Mary is a university student who is a huge dog person and is so happy to be working with them. She grew up with Chesapeake Bay Retrievers but is now a corgi fan. She also loves small animals and owns hairless rats. In her spare time, Mary loves dancing and doing art projects.

    Hey! I’m Preisha, I’m from India, stepping into my 20s with a lifelong love for pets. Animals, be it cats or dogs, have always been a joy in my life. I never pass by a furry friend on the streets without a friendly greeting! I have always been passionate about animals and working at Adventure Den makes it easier to turn that passion into a profession. Also, working here allows me to live my dream of being surrounded by and caring for these wonderful creatures.

    Colm emigrated to Canada 2 years ago and has been a part of the Adventure Den team for almost a year now. Colm has a bachelors degree in Marketing Practice from the National College of Ireland and has used his skills to help guide the way in our approach on social media.

    Colm has been around dogs his entire life. At one point having 3 dogs in his family home! Colm found a stray over 11 years ago who he appropriately named “Greg” and he has been his best friend since.

    Catherine has been with Adventure Den since 2012 and wakes up every morning looking forward to spending her day with the dogs! It keeps her grounded and happy. She is a huge help with all the tasks we do everyday. Even though she’s been here for 12 years almost she is learning everyone’s name still due to all the new pups! Dogs mean a lot to her and are a huge part of her life.
